Silex Medical Updates to ISO 9001:2015
This internationally recognized standard certification is issued to organizations that meet specific guidelines for a Quality Management System (QMS). Silex Medical is ISO 9001:2015 certified by TUV Rheinland of North America, a premier global provider of independent testing and certification services with 15 locations throughout North America.
ISO 9001:2015 provides a set of requirements that must be in place to have a quality management system, regardless of the organization’s size, product or service line, or public or private status. Certification to the standard is voluntary, and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar.
Silex Medical Receives State Grant for Engineering Internships
In March of 2019, Silex applied for a state grant to receive financial aid to improve processes and expand our existing line of surgical tooling. With the success of securing the grant, two interns from the University of Quinnipiac worked under the direction of Silex' Business Development team to gain experience in their field. As a result the company expects to improve our product offering and process controls. Keep an eye out for new items!
